Hi I'm Sarah

I live in Midway Utah

I am an avid food lover. I’m always looking for cool restaurants to try and new recipes to make. I have three darling boys, ages 9, 7 and 4 and an outdoorsy, adventurous husband. I’m an introverted extrovert (is that a thing??) and equally value my alone time as well as time with friends and family. I love exploring with my family and a camera. My favorite city is Chicago, which is also my hometown. If you want to read my story about how we ended up in Utah, I wrote a post about it here.

My style

I typically photograph newborns and families in Park City, Deer Valley, Midway, and all around the Heber Valley. I’ll do sessions in Salt Lake and Utah County with an additional travel fee. I occasionally offer a limited number of sessions in the places where we travel. My style reflects a clean, sweet approach to documenting the beauty of your life right now

What to Expect

Before and during your session:

I send my clients questionnaires and often talk with them on the phone ahead of time so we have some good material to chat about during sessions. I’m known for being very easygoing, warm, full of smiles, and patient. I’ve been in business since 2008, and over the years have learned a number of low-key, but fun ways to keep kids (and sometimes camera-shy parents) happily engaged while I photograph them.

Let kids be kids.

I love making connections with people, especially little ones. My children are very different from each other, but all three endless energy and keep me on my toes… don’t worry if you have a child who has a hard time sitting still for pictures. :  )

And finally, traveling is my fave

We love road trips and these family pics are from a trip west last summer from Chicago to Glacier National Park in Montana. I would love to hear about your favorite spots to hike/camp/adventure around Utah!

Life goes too fast, kids grow quickly, and each phase is so unique as the years go by – I look forward to getting to know your family and capturing moments that you’ll treasure for a lifetime!

(This is a picture of me when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old – this kind of stuff is priceless! It’s so worth it to photograph kids whether they are smiling or being sassy!)
